Gift Voucher Terms & Conditions

1) GENERAL
1.1) These terms and conditions apply when you use or purchase a Gift Voucher from The Gin Club NZ Ltd, trading as The Liquor Cellar, unless otherwise required by Applicable Laws.

1.2) By using or purchasing a Gift Voucher from The Liquor Cellar your agree to these Terms.

1.3) If you transfer the voucher to another person, you must inform them that they will be bound by these Terms in its use.

1.4) In addition to these Terms, please also refer to our general Terms of Service.

1.5) The Liquor Cellar reserves the right to change these Terms at their sole discretion.

2) GIFT VOUCHERS
2.1) Gift Vouchers are issued by The Liquor Cellar and are only redeemable for merchandise or services sold on theliquorcellar.nz. Gift Vouchers are emailed to the purchaser's designated recipient once the transaction is completed. 

2.2) Gift Vouchers may not be used for any other purpose. Gift Vouchers are not redeemable for cash. Gift Vouchers are not refundable, treat them as if they are cash for purchase. They are not legal tender.

2.3) The maximum amount of gift vouchers we can sell to anyone within a 3 month period is $4,999. This applies to individuals, companies, and all other legal entities.

2.4) Gift Voucher credit expires 12 months from the issue date. After expiry, the Gift Voucher is no longer valid. All transactions will be declined and any unused balance will be forfeited to The Liquor Cellar.

2.5) Gift Vouchers are redeemable for purchases by any person with it in their possession so should be kept secure by their holder.

2.6) Lost or stolen Gift Vouchers will not be replaced.

2.7) If goods purchased with a Gift Voucher are faulty and warrant a refund under the general Terms of Service then a Gift Voucher will be issued for the value of the faulty product.

2.8) There are no activation fees, added service fees, or fees that reduce the value of the voucher over time.

2.9) The balance from multiple Gift Vouchers may not be consolidated into a single voucher.

2.10) The Liquor Cellar reserves the right to cancel any Gift Voucher, or the Gift Voucher programme, for any reason at any time without notice. If this occurs, the balance on all valid Gift Vouchers will be refunded to the original purchaser.
